Many research studies have shown that blended learning can enhance motivation, communication skills, and learning achievements more effectively than any other single form of teaching. However, a crucial issue in blended learning is how to blend each format, medium and experience into a coherent learning model, and how then to maintain interaction between the teacher and students whether inside or outside the classroom. This study introduces a new blended learning model with a highly interactive strategy that incorporates web-based and face-to-face learning environments in a one-semester course through blogging the results of a pre-class warm-up, interactive teaching in class, and review and exercises after class. Empirical study of a university course on ‘Data Structure’ showed that using this model the learning achievements of most students improved, and they were more motivated and interacted more in the class.
